VINCORION Donates to Charitable Organizations

In early 2021, the mechatronics manufacturer VINCORION will once again be donating roughly 5,000 euros to charitable organizations located in the company’s immediate vicinity. At its Wedel location, VINCORION will be supporting the outpatient children’s hospice service Familienhafen Hamburg with a donation of 2,000 euros and the German Child Protection Association Wedel (WeKi) with a donation of 1,000 euros. In the United States, the Fisher House Foundation, which builds homes where military and veterans’ families can stay while a loved one is in the hospital, will also receive a donation of 2,000 dollars.

“As a company with decades-long roots in the locations in which it operates, each year we support organizations that work to build a strong and supportive community. A special focus that is also near and dear to me personally is that of families and children. We hope that our donations will contribute to these organizations’ valuable work,” said Dr. Stefan Stenzel, Managing Director of VINCORION.

Familienhafen Hamburg: Outpatient Children’s Hospice Service for Families of Children with Terminal Illnesses

Familienhafen Hamburg is an outpatient children’s hospice service whose goal is to support the families of terminally ill children after they have received their difficult diagnosis, to free them from burdensome tasks, and to accompany them on this path. Specially trained and qualified counselors are available to assist families in this regard, both at home and in their daily lives.
“Our support services are free of charge for affected families. This means Familienhafen is that much more reliant on donations. VINCORION has been a regular donor for many years, thereby supporting the work of our outpatient children’s hospice,” explained Iris Nurkovic, responsible for public relations at Familienhafen.

German Child Protection Association Wedel: A Hot Lunch Every Day

The German Child Protection Association Wedel (WeKi for short) aims to provide a hot lunch to every child in Wedel’s schools and daycare centers every day. In this process, everyone that takes advantage of this assistance remains anonymous. As a result, the association is able to help hundreds of children every year.
