Auxiliary Power Unit For Rail Vehicles

The success of logistics operations is often decided in the final few meters. VINCORION’s auxiliary power unit allows electric locomotives to switch from main routes with overhead lines to non-electrified branch lines. Integrating an genset with modern diesel engines and exhaust treatment systems into an existing locomotive platform is an engineering skill that we master. With our APU (auxiliary power unit), freight traffic can also reach non-electrified ports, mines, or industrial facilities. And as opposed to with a shunting locomotive, can do so seamlessly, rapidly, and without interruption. These benefits all help generate an above-average ROI.
