Next-Level Power Generation
VINCORION will use diesel engines with state-of-the-art exhaust gas aftertreatment for its future military gensets. Thanks to emission downgrade technology, these systems can be used worldwide in the event of a crisis, even with poor-quality fuels.
Only the new power storage modules, which feature the latest storage technology and power electronics, are even more environmentally friendly. Rugged, field-proven, and uninterruptible, all of our power systems can be operated reliably in the field – autonomously via a basic genset, as part of a hybrid system, or in uninterruptible grid-parallel operation when a connection to the power grid is available.
Whether for command posts, communication and monitoring systems, or the operation of sensitive IT or medical equipment, our network of gensets and power storage units facilitates the efficient and flexible parallel and interconnected operation of all of the German Armed Forces’ future 200 kW and 50 kW systems, among others. All of our gensets and power storage units are controlled by the same VINCORION controllers. You can operate your infrastructure via the local power grid or the VINCORION genset without having to switch over VINCORION converters operate in hot standby mode so that you can seamlessly switch between grid and genset operation at any time without any interruption in power.
Our 400 Hz converters can be operated on 50 Hz and 60 Hz networks worldwide and meet military standards’ stringent formal requirements. As a result, sensitive military equipment such as aircraft or air defense systems receive a reliable and constant supply of 400 Hz power at an appropriate voltage.

VINCORION’s PPM modularV portable power management modules serve as a flexible supply of power for mobile units. These modules can use all available power sources and can be powered via storage modules independently of other power sources. A fuel cell module can also be implemented, which reduces the amount of resources required for use even further.

Supplying power via electrical generators plays a crucial role in mobile military readiness. The generators are the workhorses that drive the success of your missions. In this context, the requirements are as varied as the vehicle profiles.
We scale our power generators to perfectly fit your installation space, power requirements, and climatic conditions. Choose between air, water, and oil cooling and an output between 5.6 and 28 kilowatts (28 VDC) or more than 100 kW for use in high-voltage systems.

VINCORION’s auxiliary power units have proven themselves all over the world. They currently operate reliably in around 1,000 models of two main battle tanks in widespread use worldwide: the British Challenger 2 and the German Leopard 2. The permanent magnet flywheel generator installed in the system delivers high energy peaks. Because it does not produce a great deal of noise, the APU also supports silent watch mode. A running APU reduces wear and tear on the main drive system and reduces fuel consumption.
In a military mission, the first strike is of critical importance. A military vehicle’s weapon must remain precisely on target – even when driving across rough terrain. The weapon stabilization system needs to continuously and directly compensate for vehicle movement and recoil from the shot, and do so in a reliable, low-maintenance, and cost-effective manner for decades.
